The ISAK Level 1 Certification encompasses the 21 anthropometric measures to enable the practitioner to assess 8 skinfolds, 6 girths, 3 bone breadths, as well as height, sitting height, arm span and body mass.

The theoretical component includes knowledge and practice of body composition (including muscle mass), somatotype, health issues, and athletic performance.
